JUSTYNA GIZA
I was born in 3 of May, 1977 in Chrzanów in south of Poland.
I graduated from the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow.
Thanks to those studies I have learned to paint in the techniques of Old Masters,which lead me in this field of art I am create today.
Working as paintings restorator I have been in close contact with the paintings of Old Masters and the way they create their paintings . The greatest inspiration for me is the period of renaissance specially flemish.
In my paintings I`m searching for possibilities of showing the deapest essens of those who I peaint: person, birdl, object, their spirit and soul at the same time showing phisicality of mattery like wood, textile or skin.
